A small sound of discomfort escaped his lips as L drew closer, attempting to lean back as far as he could despite L's hand tightly grasping his arm. He felt impossibly hot now, the sudden proximity threatening to unscrew a valve that would let all of his emotions burst forth. It was difficult to look away with L looming in so close, hounding him as he was, yet he could hear the clock ticking when he did, counting down as his restraint melted away in a pleasant wave of euphoria.
"And because of that reasoning suddenly it's fine for us to go ahead and have sex?" he gritted his teeth, trying to stare L down with all the willpower he had left; yet simply showing that he wasn't afraid would never be enough to have L back down. In a slightly shakier voice, he continued. "Yes, I do."
